I'm on a Boat...Hvar Style

On our second day in Hvar, much to our surprise, we were able to rent a mini motor boat for the whole day; only costing us about $30 a person. But unfortunately it was raining in the morning so we had to wait it our for a little bit. In the mean time, we cooked a big gourmet breakfast in the covered outdoor kitchen at hostel.

My Dad is probably jealous

Finally the sky cleared up a little bit and we set sail in our 5 hp motor boat we named "Spicy Red Rocket"

We had the freedom to boat all around the little islands near the city and dock at a variety of beaches and coves, or just in the middle of the sea.

Snorkeling was stunning in the crystal blue water, but there were sea urchins EVERYWHERE

Carpe Diem Beach Club: most people take boat taxis there at night

Because it was closed, we decided to take advantage of the empty lounge chairs

But our journey had to come to an end at some point...

That night, everyone at our hostel was hanging around outside by the kitchen, making dinner/eating pizza and drinking a little bit. Everyone was having a great time. It's always a good experience to meet people from all over the world, with different backgrounds, and at different stages of their lives. To me, that's one of the most important parts of traveling, and I need to always keep that in mind.

Afterwards, we all headed to this cool bar in downtown called Kiva Bar.
